Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Package Portal website and related services, including package forwarding, mail forwarding, package consolidation, repacking & protective packaging, storage services, shipping insurance support, and FBA prep & fulfillment solutions (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing the website or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You are responsible for providing accurate information when requesting Services or contacting us. If you create an account or request services on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to do so. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for activities that occur under your account.

Service Description and Limitations

Package Portal provides logistics support and handling services. We do not manufacture, sell, or guarantee the quality, authenticity, or legality of items purchased from third parties. Retailers, carriers, and customs authorities may impose restrictions, delays, or additional requirements that are outside our control.

Prohibited and Restricted Items

You must not send, store, or request forwarding of items that are prohibited by law, restricted by carriers, or restricted by the destination country. Examples may include hazardous materials, illegal substances, weapons, and other regulated goods. Restrictions vary by carrier and destination. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering.

We may refuse, hold, return, or dispose of prohibited items where required for safety or legal compliance. Any costs related to returns, disposal, or special handling may be charged to you where permitted.

Customs, Declared Value, and Compliance

You are responsible for providing accurate shipment information, including declared value, item descriptions, and other details needed for customs forms and carrier documentation. Customs duties, taxes, inspections, seizures, or delays may occur and are outside our control. We do not provide legal or customs brokerage advice.

Receiving, Handling, and Processing

When items arrive at our facility, we perform standard receiving and check-in. Additional services such as consolidation, repacking, inspection, photos, labeling, kitting, or special handling may be available upon request and may involve extra fees. Processing timelines can vary based on volume, service complexity, and operational conditions.

Storage Terms

Storage may be offered short-term and/or long-term. Free storage periods (if any) and storage fees are defined on the Rates & Fees page or in your service agreement. Unpaid balances may result in storage holds or suspension of service until resolved.

Shipping, Delivery Times, and Risk of Loss

Carrier transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delivery can be affected by weather, customs processing, destination restrictions, service disruptions, and other factors outside our control.

Risk of loss during transit is generally governed by the carrier’s terms and the selected service level. Where available, you may request shipping insurance support. Claims (if applicable) are subject to carrier/insurer rules, required documentation, and time limits.

FBA Prep & Fulfillment Terms

For Amazon-related services, you are responsible for providing correct SKU/FNSKU details, labeling requirements, shipment plans, carton/pallet prep requirements, and any platform-specific instructions. We follow the instructions you provide and standard best practices, but we cannot guarantee acceptance by Amazon warehouses or eliminate all inbound issues (which can occur due to Amazon receiving rules and operational factors).

For fulfillment (FBM and multi-channel), you are responsible for providing accurate order information, addresses, and shipping preferences. Shipping label costs are separate from fulfillment handling fees unless otherwise stated.

Rates, Fees, and Payments

Service fees are shown on the Rates & Fees page or provided by quote. Carrier shipping charges are not included in service fees unless explicitly stated. Final shipping cost depends on destination, weight, dimensions, declared value, and selected speed. Materials (poly bags, bubble wrap, cartons) may add cost based on usage.

You agree to pay all applicable fees and any taxes due. We may update pricing periodically; updated rates will apply to new service requests and may be posted on the website.

Cancellations, Returns, and Disposals

Cancellation may not be possible after processing has started. Returns to retailers are subject to the retailer’s policy and may require you to provide instructions and/or labels. If you request disposal of items (where allowed), disposal fees may apply.

Website Use and Acceptable Conduct

You agree not to misuse the website or interfere with its security or availability. You must not attempt unauthorized access, introduce malware, or scrape/harvest data from the site without permission. We may suspend access for suspected abuse or security risks.

Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, and design elements are owned by Package Portal or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute content without prior written permission, except where explicitly allowed.

Disclaimers

Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that shipping will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of delays.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Package Portal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from retailer actions, carrier delays, customs actions, or destination restrictions.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, unless a different limit is required by applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Package Portal from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from (1) your violation of these Terms, (2) prohibited or restricted items, (3) inaccurate shipment information or declared value, or (4) misuse of the website or Services.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use of the website or Services after changes are posted indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
